The Soccer Odyssey Part 2 - Sasquatch is behind me isn't he?

from CLUBELEVEN · host CLUBELEVEN

The Soccer Bus finally hits the road. After an abbreviated planning and renovation period, the bus sets sail on it's maiden voyage. Charting a path from Orlando, FL up through the end of the Appalachian Mountains to North Carolina. This first trip was nothing short of ambitious. Especially considering we hadn't driven the bus more than 30 miles until now... 3 games in 3 days. That was the goal. Document three unique match days from the first round of the 2025 U.S. Open Cup, stopping in Asheville, Boone, and High Point to visit Asheville City SC, Appalachian FC, and Carolina Core, respectively. By the end of the week, the bus had logged almost 1,500 miles, hosted a mythical visitor, and somehow, ended up on a TV broadcast. Releasing weekly, The Soccer Odyssey Podcast is an 8-ish episode series documenting the highs and lows of driving our 1998 bus turned soccer museum 12,000 miles across the country.
