On the first episode, we listened to the beginnings of the story. From the middle of the 19th century, when the Jewish waves of immigration to Palestine had started (encouraged by Britain and spearheaded by Zionism) , the events progressed until Balfour declaration in 1917. Following the declaration, Britain empowered the Zionists in Palestine until the imperial power realized how dangerous this policy was. Yet, it was too late, and the inevitable had to happen.
