The Tapestry of Life

As I have reflected over this past season not only in my own life but in the world, I recognised a wonderful analogy through the creative art of weaving which I would like to share with you on this podcast. What I enjoy most about the study of humankind, is to recognise that we are all wonderfully unique with our own stories, experiences and perceptions and filters that add different shades to our lives.  I read a beautiful quote the other day: The one thing that you have that nobody else has is YOU. Your voice. Your mind. Your story. Your vision. So write and build and draw and play and dance. And live as only you can.When we take time to reflect and reframe, it is intriguing what picture emerges and what we can learn from the multifaceted layers of life, and the resilience that is required to rise to the life we were meant to live. That abundant life that Jesus came to give because God so loves the world! When all of the threads come together in technicolour detail, a wonderful tapestry of your life is created and it is to be enjoyed.
