The Teenage Mental Health Crisis (BBC News Interview)

from The Paul McGregor Podcast

A few weeks ago I went in to the BBC studios to talk about the mental health crisis surrounding young people right now. This is something I'm hugely passionate, now as a Dad, I realise just how important it is to focus on the next generation when it comes to mental health. And hearing stories from people daily about how they've lost their children to suicide scares me...In it, I focus on the need for education. Mental health education within schools.I also talk about intervening earlier, for everyone, to give them the support and help they need when they still have a chance to recover.I'd love to hear your thoughts on this too. What can we do to help the mental health crisis surrounding young people right now?Hopefully you get some value from this episode, and as always don't forget to subscribe!A rating and a review always helps a Podcast get more exposure too, so if you have a minute spare, I'd truly appreciate it!Together, let's stand up to the stigma.Grab yourself a copy of the book here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-Up-Down-Standing-Inspirational/dp/1912478463Follow me on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/pmcgregorcomConnect with me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pmcgregorcomSee how I can help you here: http://www.pmcgregor.com Hosted on Acast.
