For those that are not in the know, tithing is a practice in which a Christian believer will give money via his/her local church. The believer will give that temple 10% of their earnings to help support the mission of that local church. Typically that tithe is in the control of that pastor of that local church which will support his personal needs as well as the church's. This financial practice has been going on for many generations and the premise of this practice comes out of the Mosaic law.
