The Truth About Adulting

I have a confession to make.Yesterday I could not get out of bed. I flew back to London from NYC and woke up extremely home sick, desperately wanting to be back in the company of my mom, grandma, brother, and best of all; my 12 year old family dog Bootsie. I missed my home, I missed my neighborhood, I missed the sense of ease I feel when I’m surrounded by the woman who made me who I am. YES! Me, a 27 year old grown woman who’s been away from her family since 14 and has been living in London for nearly 2 years woke up home sick. So homesick I couldn’t get out of bed; And I accepted that was going to be the reality of my day.Until it changed.In this episode, I get real about adulting and what it even is. I share the tools that helped me change my day to a positive ending but also honor and acknowledge how I felt sad and that it’s completely normal.
