For Heart Failure Awareness week (22-28th June), Bretto talks to Cardiologist and researcher Dr John Amerena about what those with co-morbidities should look for as warning signs. The Cassowary Coast Regional Council Mayor, Theresa Millwood pops in for a chat and James Tamou gives us his tips for the week-end NRL round. Bretto interviews Matt Walther, manager and lead guitarist from the Countdown Band ahead of their show at the Silkwood tavern before tackling the "Cost-of-Living Crisis - is it anywhere near the worst in the world?" with Sue Barrett from Democracy Watch AU. Hugh Bohane tells us what's making news in the latest Cassowary Coast Observer. To round off the week Bretto catches up with an old friend, scientist and conservationist Christina Zdenic about the help she and her team are giving Palm Cockatoos on Cape York Peninsula to find suitable tree hollows to breed in.
