The Window on Death Row - A Capital Punishment Discussion

The Window on Death Row is a powerful short feature, presently up for Oscar and other award consideration; telling the story behind the conviction and eventual exoneration of death row inmate Joaquin Jose Martinez. Martinez was also the first Spaniard to receive the death sentence in America.For a special screening for members of various guilds, we drilled down on the issues surrounding the death penalty in America, beyond the story of Martinez and what may lie ahead for the future of capital punishment.  I was joined in conversation by the director and editor of The Window on Death Row, Linda Freund as well as its executive producer and activist Mike Farrell.  Here is our conversation.
