He composes music, plays 5 instruments and he is a vocalist. He gives a short demonstration of impromptu musical performance on the bansuri, violin, and voice, with Present Moment Singing, accompanied by the drone instrument, the tanpura. He also likes to hike outdoors in Nature, and he shares photos and a story of hiking in the high mountains of Central Oregon with his late father. He also likes to have great conversations with people and to find out about their interests, but he is by himself today. He talks about what he does at Healing Light Yoga and Massage in the Heart of the Hollywood District. He has been teaching yoga for over 45 years, and he honors his teachers Wen Chi Huang, Master in Ta’I Chi Ch’uan and Shaolin, and Sri Dadaji, Amiya Roy Chowdhury, who he knew the last 14 years of his life, from 1978 to 1992. Steve talks about his program that he has been developing for many years called The Present Moment Program, to help people into high awareness into the Present Moment. This develops accurate perception and accurate memory. He talks about the importance of developing this awareness, breathing properly through the Ocean Breath, Ujjayi Pranayama, developing neutral posture, graceful and efficient movement, the Healing Light Kata, Deep Current Technique, the Vagus Nerve, Vagal Tone, and many other topics crucial to living successfully. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and he is an Board Approved Provider of Continuing Education by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He enjoys helping people to be at their best in every performance on the Stage of Life. He has developed a 60-Hour Continuing Education Course for medical professionals, and it is also open to anyone who wishes to learn about the subject. It is available at his website and on Amazon.
