The Wrong Guys

I think about it all thetime.It doesn’t seemfair.It doesn’t seemright.I try to make the equation work,but it doesn’t. They don’t give youthe time of day.They couldn’t care lessabout your law.They are proud of their pride.they are so arroganttheir tonguesstrut.They mock yourexistence.They scoff at your boundaries.They not only make threats,they resort to violence.Their boasting is theirbling.I usually swallowmy questions,but I’m roaringinside.It makes me tired tothink about it,and it does makemy obedienceseem like a waste.They seem to have littletrouble.They seem to seldomsuffer.But I do!And while I suffer,they arefat and happy.Then in my confusionIt hit me.This is but a moment,a dream,a mist,a vapor,a quick passage througha temporary place.This is notmy home.This is a journeytoward home.They think this is home,but this is nothome.Please guide me on my way.Please hold me with your hand.And when I amwearyand my heart is about tofailand my reserves of strength aregone,please help me to rememberthat they have ease and richesbutI have you,And you will be mystrength and portionforever.___________________________________Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
