You can Hope, for something, plan for something, work for something, but you can never expect something.
Three things have been on my mind lately. First - Sometimes things in life may seem to just keep stacking against you. It happens to everyone. The real power is in how you get yourself back on track. Second - You cannot expect things to happen in any certain way. There will be times when something happens so quick you don’t feel ready for it, and there will be times you feel like nothing will ever happen. It will, for sure, just keep going. Finally, the biggest lesson I ever learned while performing was to always have something stage-ready. There will come a time when you get a last minute booking. Instead of stressing about throwing something together, you will be prepared and ready to go.
