Episode 74, it’s Barb’s birthday 🎉🎉🎉 (almost)

Do you set birthday intentions for the year to come? It’s something that we started doing last year and has been transformative. Every year around the sun is an opportunity to reflect on the past year and ask yourself what went well? what area did I grow in? What area do I need to focus more growth on? And from there you can set your intention for the year to come. This year my intention is, Discovery. While I know myself I don’t know this version of me because she’s knew here. So this year the goal is to be curious about who I am, what I like and where I want to go in life! 

Being in our feminine & masculine energy has been something we have been focusing on more these days.  And today we got to do just that! We met up with Justine Wenzel a go to beauty guru here in Rochester and had the most amazing time playing with make up and talking with the girls while also being able to take our vision calls for the day & move our business forward. It felt like true integration of this entrepreneurial journey. 

Homemade Events is nominated for the Community Sponsor Award hosted by the NXT Level Collective! This nomination means so much more to us than just a trophy (but don’t get it twisted we here for the trophy 🏆). Homemade was founded on the model community over competition. To win this award would be the biggest affirmation that we are holding to our values and putting our money where our mouth is.
