Paebbl converts CO2 into long-lasting essential industrial raw materials, permanently sequestering the CO2. Formerly, Andreas co-founded The 280 Company which developed conversion processes for CO2 and methane into carbon nanomaterials. Before that, he was CEO of Slush (www.slush.org) and Co-Founder & CEO of Wave Ventures (www.wave.ventures). Andreas studied industrial engineering and management at Aalto University in Finland. About Pol: Pol Knops is Co-Founder and CTO of Paebbl, a CO2 repurposing company. Paebbl converts CO2 into long-lasting essential industrial raw materials, permanently sequestering the CO2. He has been working on mineralization for about 15 years, first as an academic interest. And slowly realized that besides the CO2 sequestration there is value to be generated from the beneficial use of the end-products. And in order to create an influential impact this needs to be scaled up to industrial scale, which requires founding a company, a bigger team, more funding, business cases etc. etc. besides the chemistry of CO2 sequestration. Pol has a MSc degree in physics from the University of Twente.
