In this session of This Is CDR is pleased to welcome Kelly Erhart and Tom Green from Project Vesta to tell us about Coastal Carbon Capture as a CDR solution, and provide an update as to where Project Vesta are in terms of research, development, and deployment of “carbon negative sand.” Moderated by Toby Bryce (@wtbryce) and Megha Raghavan ABOUT OUR PRESENTERS Kelly Erhart is Co-Founder and Director of Development for Project Vesta. Kelly has a multidisciplinary background and is committed to reframing complex issues into scalable, holistic solutions. She has commercialized sustainable technologies, provided strategic direction to multi stakeholder initiatives, managed disaster relief projects, produced large scale international events, and consulted for climate change mitigation projects. Tom Green is Executive Director of Project Vesta. Tom began his career as a biologist, then spent 20 years in various corporate roles at Capital One, Lending Club, Bain & Company, and Averon, spanning marketing, data analysis, communications, product, strategy, project leadership, and general management. He is co-founder of UK climate change non-profit We Are Ancestors and has advised The Nature Conservancy on strategy. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
