Those impacted by recent storms to meet in Leitrim

Business owners, homeowners and farmers in Leitrim that were negatively impacted by the recent storm Darragh will have an opportunity to air their concerns at a special public meeting later this week. The meeting is being organised by Leitrim Public Participation Network and will take place at 7pm in the Den which is situated on the Swanlinbar Road, Ballinamore. The meeting aims to bring many stakeholders together with representatives from the ESB and Uisce Éireann being invited to attend. Many households, farms, and businesses without power and water for extended periods following the storm damage. Mary McKeon from the Leitrim PPN says there has been considerable disruption caused after recent storms in Leitrim and some surrounding counties
