Thriving Through the Holidays

Holidays can often be a time of stress, especially if your relationships aren't how you want them to be. There's so much pressure put on our connections with our partners, friends, and family.

This is why I wanted to give you the tools not only to survive, but to actually thrive through the holidays and set yourself up for a great upcoming year.

✔️ Decide in advance how you want to feel. Check in and make that choice. Do you want to be loved? In solitude? Supported? This helps you keep track and know what you need to change.

✔️ Set boundaries. What do they look like? Be it touching at a party or an extra drink — you can say no. You can focus on drawing them so you can take care of yourself.

✔️ Take care of your body. You can still enjoy yourself during the holidays without sabotaging your physical health. Choose one healthy thing you would pay attention to —like better sleep, exercise, or meditation.

✔️ Give yourself permission to feel. If you find yourself feeling down while others are partying, you don't have to force yourself to conform. Exit that situation. Treat yourself more lovingly without having to bring others down.
