from The Project EGG Show: Entrepreneurs Gathering for Growth | Conversations That Change The World · host Ben Gothard | Project EGG

With over 3.5 billion searches per day on Google alone, search engine optimization (SEO) is more important than ever. Leveraging organic traffic can mean a near endless supply of visitors to your site. In this interview, Tim O'Keefe, Owner of Spider Juice Technologies, shares his origin story and marketing knowledge. Here is an excerpt from Tim: "Difficult to teach in a few paragraphs. But trust is easy if you have rapport skills. I know if I am meeting someone qualified in person then the trust part is easy. Again, so long as they are qualified. You have your time in business, for me 20 years. I joke my competition was in grade school when I started my company. Then I might explain why I started the company which was I was tired of representing lousy services. If I fail at that, I can only blame the guy in the mirror. They have seen and received your proof. Proof of what you do is the real deal. Provide them with anything meaningful to them. A BBB rating to a review on Google or Yelp, to copies of testimonials, to a letter from a person in the industry. When talking to most folks, they will resonate with that. I try and stack up validity by my marketing subtleties. If somebody mentions they like football. I might tell them about my podcast series that includes coaching as it applies to football and business. And one in particular they may enjoy and here's why.... is the one with Jim Mora. Name dropping? absolutely. But its natural. I also am writing a book. Mostly so that when I meet someone I can send it to them or give it to them as an opener. Too big a time burner? Then write an article. Publish it on your blog. (you do not have a blog? tisk tisk smh) Then put it up on your channel (you will get a channel on Medium) on Medium. Or do a note or story on your Facebook Biz Page. BOOM you are published. But then also rapport is wearing their uniform. It is pacing and leading them. Mirroring them. This is difficult to discuss in a short span. My pal at altfeld.com teaches it and has some resources. Suffice it to say with body and language skills rapport ie trust, can get established very quickly. Trusting me yet?"
