Matthew 28:16-20 16So the eleven disciples went off to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had instructed them to go. 17There they saw him, and worshipped him, though some hesitated. 18Jesus came towards them and addressed them. ‘All authority in heaven and on earth’, he said, ‘has been given to me! 19So you must go and make all the nations into disciples. Baptize them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy spirit. 20Teach them to observe everything I have commanded you. And look: I am with you, every single day, to the very end of the age.’ The Bible for Everyone: A New Translation . SPCK. Kindle Edition. O Lord God
When you give to your servants to endeavour any great matter
grant us to know that it is not the beginning,
but the continuing of it,
until it be thoroughly finished,
which yields the true glory,
through him
who for the finishing of your work
laid down his life,
our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
