All right, if you have your Bible today, which is gonna have a shorter than normal message, but I just wanna cover a few things. I really wanted to launch all Pastor Seth's series to the ends of the earth. I did not get to hear his message last week because the broadcast was a little off. So first time in, I don't know how many years I've not participated in one of our services, even if I've been gone, but I did not get to hear that.

But from two weeks ago, when he has the ends of the earth series, I wanna talk about that the title of the message today is could call it sent out or the send. I wouldn't really kind of back and forth on that, but that God wants to send you, God wants to send us into the world. But that when he sends us, he doesn't send us ill-equipped. He doesn't just say, okay, I'm sending you, no, go figure it out for yourself.

That when he sends us, and he initiates us into ministry, whether he's sending you to the school that you work at, whether he's sending you to the downtown area, by the way, I wanna say thank you to our street ministry team for the tree lighting. Was it Friday night? Friday night, a tree up, we got a tent up down on the downtown mall with the city reach logo. We're hanging out in a hot chocolate, loving on the city.

So if you were involved in that, just don't want you to stand up, I'd just say thank you. Let's give them a hand, amen. Great job, great job. God bless you guys for doing that.

Thank you so much. But whether God's sending you downtown Cumberland, whether God's sending you to the mission field of your job, or whether it's across the country or around the world, wherever it is, he does not send us ill-equipped. And so I wanna look at just three things that God does before he sends us out. So number one is that he calls us.

Number two is that, and if you have your Bibles, go ahead and turn to Matthew chapter nine, that he calls us, he commits, and then he commands. He calls, he commits, and he commands. And when he calls us, it's a lot of people when they think about the call into ministry. I may have heard that term.

I've had people say, when were you called into ministry? I said, well, I was never really called into ministry. I fell into ministry. So for me, it wasn't a call, it was a fall.

But a lot of times people think about the call of God, and they think about this call into ministry, but I wanna show you today, the first place God calls us is to themself, that before God calls us into ministry, God calls us into intimacy, that there's a call to the person of God before God calls us out and sends us out to the people that he's called us to. And so that God calls us. The second thing we wanna look at today in Matthew chapter 10 is that God commits some things to us, that he commits, that he gives us some tools, that he gives us things. And then the third thing is that he commands, and not really commands us is not really the best word, but it's the word that's used there, but it really means that he gives us some instructions.

He tells us who, what, where, when, why, and how of where he's sending us. So I just wanna look at those today. I wanna pray at the end for those that really feel a desire, whether that's, you're called into missions, whether you're just called into being a better witness. Pastor Sess talked a lot about, you know, that from Acts 1-8 that will receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and he says, and you will be witnesses unto me, Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth, or to the ends of the earth.

So wherever you fall in that, the commission is for each one of us. Like there's no one that's a believer in Jesus that is exempt from the great commission, that Jesus came to the earth to redeem what Adam lost, to restore our relationship with the Father, and that everybody in the world deserves a chance to hear that. Your neighbor deserves a chance. Your coworker, person thousands of miles away deserves a chance.

Maybe not just one, maybe multiple, and then we're called. There's a calling on our life. Because frankly, like a lot of people don't get it the first time around, right? Sometimes you're the person that plants seeds, sometimes you're the person that's Paul says, you know, I planted a pot of water, God gave the increase.

So, you know, sometimes people say, well, how many people got saved today? Well, maybe none. And that's okay, because I don't know until eternity what God's gonna do with the seed that got planted today. I believe that God gives the increase.

But the call to me is not to save people. The call to me is to preach the gospel. Jesus does the saving. Jesus gives the increase.

We all play a role, but none of us are exempt from that. And so that as God sends us out, I want you to keep these things in mind today. So if you have your Bibles, I actually turn to Matthew chapter nine, we're gonna start there. So I wanna start with Jesus.

And we're gonna read the last few verses of Matthew nine into Matthew 10 verse one. And I really like to take passages that go over top of two chapters because a lot of times we get the chapter break and we miss the flow of it. So we're gonna read through that and we'll go back and make a few points from it. So Matthew chapter nine verse 35 says this.

And I'll have to apologize. I'm used to, I preached six times in six days without a PowerPoint. So I gotta get back into the flow of the PowerPoint here. I'm a little bit out of that.

It says, then Jesus went about all the cities and villages. Now I want you to notice here's, there's three things listed here, but they're also in Matthew four. It says three things that it's really about his ministry, teaching, preaching and healing. I want you to see these corner sense.

It says, Jesus went about all the cities and villages teaching in their citagogs, preaching the gospel, the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when he saw them altitudes, he was moved with compassion for them because they were like, they were weary and scattered like sheep having no shepherd. And then he says to his disciples, the harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few. So there's a great harvest.

There's a harvest to be had, but the amount of people to do the work doesn't match the size of the harvest. And he says, therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers or laborers into his harvest. And so that's what I want to pray into today. I want to pray into workers for the harvest.

And a lot of times we will say, well, I can do that. I can pray for you to go. I can pray for so and so to go. But here's how I want you to pray today.

Anytime you pray that prayer, I want you to pray with the willingness to go yourself. That if you're praying God, I pray that you would send harvesters, I pray that you would send workers into the harvest. I'm willing to be one of them. I'm willing to be used by you.

I realize there's a need that's greater than the amount of the workforce, like the workforce is smaller than the amount of need. And I'm willing to be one of those people. And so he says that to his disciples. I think it's interesting.

He says, pray the Lord of the harvest. He says to his disciples, pray the Lord of the harvest. And then chapter 10 verse 1 says, and then he calls his disciples. So now he's like making it real.

And chapter 10 verse 1 says, and when he had called his 12 disciples to him, he gave them power over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. And then it lists the disciples. And then down to verse 5, it says, these 12, Jesus sent out and commanded them saying, do not go into the Gentiles and don't go to the city of the Samaritans, but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Let's just say that. Freely I have received, freely I have received, freely give.

Father, I thank you today for these few minutes. I pray that you would punch this home today. I pray that you would make it real. Bring your word to life.

And the Lord I pray that the seeds would be planted in good soil today in Jesus name. Amen. All right, the first thing it says here, it says in Matthew 10, when he had called his 12 disciples, it doesn't say he called them into ministry. What does it say?

He calls and calls his 12 disciples to himself. So a lot of times I think, well, what's God's call on your life? Well, his first and primary call is to call you to him. Because apart from him, the foundation of all successful ministry begins with intimacy with Jesus.

So the first thing he does, he doesn't send you out. The first thing he does is he calls you in. And so he says there's disciples, I want you to pray, there's this harvest, the harvest is plentiful. In another passage, Jesus says the fields are ripe into harvest or white into harvest.

And he says I want you to pray. And I want you to pray that the Lord of the harvest, it's my harvest, it belongs to me. And I want you to pray to me to send out workers into my harvest to reap the harvest. And then he says to his disciples, he says, hey guys, I'm calling you to myself.

I'm calling you in, because I want to teach you a few things. What did Jesus say? He said, come unto me, all you who are weary, and I will give you rest, take my yoke upon you and learn. And learn from me.

There's things Jesus needs to teach us from the way that we had been doing it, to the way that he wants it done, that he wants to teach us a few things. And so he calls his disciples in. The word call means this. It means to call to oneself, to bid to come to oneself, to summon, to invite.

So it's not like when I was a kid, my mom would be like, get your rear end in here son. It's not that kind of call. It's more like, hey Franny, it's dinner time. It's an invitation.

It's a summons that he's inviting us to a relationship on an intimacy with him. If we look at Mark chapter three, verses 13 to 15, we see this. I want you to notice this, it went up on the mountain. So the mountain represents this place of prayer and revelation, right?

So Jesus spends a lot of time in prayer on the mountain. And he goes on the mountain and says, he went up on the mountain and he called to him those he himself wanted. You realize when God calls you, he wants you, he wants you on his team. The God of the universe, when he calls you, it's because he wants you.

When I think about them, I'm like, what do I have to offer God? But nonetheless, he wants me. He wants you. And it says he called those he wanted to himself and then again, look at this.

And they came. They answered the invitation. Then he appointed 12. Now, a lot of times we think of the apostles being, what do we think of the apostles getting appointed to do?

He appoints them, he commissions them to do what? Preach. He commissions them to heal. He commissions them to cast down demons.

But before that, what does he appoint them to do? That they might be with him. See, it says he appointed 12, that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have power over heal sickness and to cast out demons. Before all that stuff that we call ministry, he calls them into intimacy.

He calls them into this relationship and this walk with Jesus where they can learn to do things the way it does them. Do you know, this is exactly what Jesus modeled. When Jesus ministered on the earth, Jesus ministered out of complete intimacy with his father. It says that he only said what?

What he heard the father say? He only did what he saw his father doing. It said, I've come not to do my will, but to come to do the will of him who sent me. And so Jesus lived on earth with this recognition that he's like the works I do, the father does the works.

That apart from this intimacy with the father, Jesus realized that his ministry wouldn't be effective. And so we can do a lot of ministry, we can do a lot of things. We can be marthus, right? We can be busy about ministry and we miss the one thing that Jesus says needs for, which is to sit at his feet and to hear his word.

He says that's what's necessary. Everything else just becomes noise. Everything else just becomes distraction. It's kind of like they're sitting in a rocking chair, do they make those anymore?

Maybe I have a rocking chair. If you sit in a rocking chair, you can create a lot of motion, but you don't go anywhere. And I think that's what happens a lot of times in ministry. We go do a bunch of busy work.

We create a lot of activity, we do a lot of motion, but apart from intimacy with Jesus, it's just ineffective, just noise, just activity. So Jesus talked about this when he talks about that I am the vine and you are the branches. He talks about this as a bide in me and I in you that when he abides in us, he never leaves. So there's never a time that we're apart from him.

But how often do we go about things, we go about our life that he's in us, but we're abiding somewhere completely different. We're living in a different realm. We're consumed with other things. And he says, I'm abiding in you and I want you to abide in me.

I want you to rest in me. I want you to trust in me that the byproduct, the natural byproduct of intimacy with me becomes fruitfulness. You're going to produce fruit in your life. I think it's interesting when we get to, beyond after Jesus resurrects, and you remember the story in Acts chapter three where Peter and John go to the temple and there's a guy that's lame from birth, and the guy gets healed, and then 2000 more people get saved because of the testimony.

Well, then in Acts chapter four, they're being interrogated. They're getting interrogated by the elders in the church. The chief priests, the scribes, they're like, by what name did you do this? And how did you do this?

And all of a sudden Peter, it says that he and John, they speak boldly. And it says, when they saw the boldness in Acts chapter four, I think it's verse 13, it says, when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and they realized that they were unlearned and untrained men, they marveled. How can somebody that's had no experience at this, no training, and how can somebody that has no education be able to do and speak with the boldness that they spoke with? It says, then they realized what?

That they had been with Jesus. See, being with Jesus gives you a boldness. The word boldness actually means fearless confidence. It means fearless confidence.

It means that I can speak without withholding the words that God's placed in my mouth. That I can act in a way that I'm not consumed and I'm not timid about the things that I say or the things that I do, that it's fearless confidence. It said that when you spend time in intimacy with Jesus, it's demonstrated in the way that you can fearlessly speak, that you can act with boldness, and you can actually proclaim the works and do the works that Jesus did. So the first thing he does before he sends us out is he calls us to himself.

He calls us to this place of intimacy. He says, hey, I don't want you to go out there without spending time with me first. And it's not just a one time thing. It's just not a lot of people get in this routine of devotions.

I believe in the routine of devotions, but don't let it become a routine. Don't let it become, oh, it's just a box to check. I read my Bible today. I prayed today.

We spend time until he comes. We spend time. Like sometimes it's active. Sometimes it's more of a passive.

Sometimes it's those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. Sometimes it's that I'm sitting in his presence waiting for him to minister to me. Other times it's seek me with your whole heart and when you seek me with your whole heart, you'll find me. And other times it's more active.

But either way, it's spending time and intimacy with him until he arrives, until he shows up. Number two is this, is that he commits to us, not just authority, but also power. Before he sends us out, he calls us to himself, but now he gives us something. He commits.

It says, Matthew 10, one says, he gave them power over unclean spirits to cast them out. And I underlined the word, alks. We're going to look at Luke 9 also. But it says all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.

So that what he gives us is the authority to heal every kind of sickness. That there's no sickness, too small, too big, too long, too far gone. You've had it for too long. The report's too bad.

It's all sickness. It's all disease. Now this word power here is the word authority, exusia. Exusia, authority means this.

It's the power to enforce. That I've been authorized to do something. I have the power to enforce something. In Luke chapter 9, verse 1, it says it's a little different.

It says, then he called his 12 disciples together and gave them, here it was both words, power and what? Authority, power and authority over. Before it was over all sickness and all disease, here it's over what? All demons.

So there's no demonic force. There's no disability. There's no disease. There's no sickness.

That Jesus not only hasn't given us power, which is dunamis, it's the power to perform. It actually means that the performing of miracles, he's given us the power to perform, but he's also giving us the authority, the power to enforce it. So I like to think of it like this, you think of like policemen, the official word is a law, what law enforcement officer. They enforce what?

The law of the land. And that's what Jesus has authorized us to do. He's given us the ability to enforce that which he has paid for. And so if you have a policeman, you have what?

He has a gun, right? But he also has a badge. The gun represents the power, the power to perform. The badge represents the power to enforce.

And one without the other can get you in trouble, but when I've got the power to perform, backed up by the power to enforce, nothing's standing against that. Nothing's standing against that. So when you look at this word give, it says that he gave them power, it's the word D to me. It means to furnish necessary things, right?

That when he gives this to you, it's because you need it. Imagine going against a demon and not having the authority to cast it out. Does anybody wanna do that? No, no, why would you?

Imagine praying for a sickness and having no ability to see the thing healed. But he gives us and trusts us, commits to us what we need to see results. It says to furnish what's necessary to deliver to give over to one's care, to entrust or to commit. So he says, I'm giving this to you, to use in your care.

It still belongs to me, right? It's his, right? It's his power, it's his authority, but he entrusts it to you. He gives it to you.

He says, I want you to take this and use it to effectively be able to represent what I paid for in the earth, what I paid for it the cross. When I resurrected and defeated everything, I want your life to represent that. And in order to do it, you're gonna need power and you're gonna need authority. Well, it's interesting that the word give here, the word commit is the same word that Jesus uses in the parable of the talents.

So in Matthew chapter five, we have the parable of the talents. In Luke chapter 19, similar parable of the mean is. That it says in Luke chapter 25, it says that he gave, that he gave one of his servants, he gave them five talents. So the other he gave two and the other he gave one, right?

So he says, I want you to take these, I want you to use them and I'm gonna come back one day and I'm gonna see how good a job you did with it. And when he comes back, the guy that got five, he says, master, your five is now turned into 10. I got five more. And he says, well done, good and faithful servant.

And the guy that got two, he said, hey, I took your two, I invested them, I used them and now you're two are now four. And he says, well done, good and faithful servant. And the guy that got one, what did he do? He buried it, he went and buried it.

He said, I thought you were a mean person. I thought you re-preed in so. And so I went and stuck it in the ground. And Jesus said, you wicked and lazy servant, you should have at least put it in the bank where you would have got interest on it.

And so that I would have got some sort of return on the thing that I committed to you. And then he says, at the end of this parable, he says this in verse 29, he says to everyone who has, more will be given. So it's the same word that he gave them talents initially. But now later in the parable, he takes the one away and he gives it to the guy that has 10.

They're like, why would you give the guy that has 10, another one? And he says, because to everyone that has more will be given. Well, you got to understand when he says, has what? It's not everyone that has 10, it's everyone that has faithfulness.

The faithfulness is the thing that they possessed. He says, everybody that has faithfulness more will be given. And the one that doesn't have faithfulness, faithfulness, even that which he has will be taken away. And so I just want to submit this to you today.

If God has entrusted us with his power and his authority, what happens when I faithfully steward that? He's going to release more of it in my life. He's going to release greater measures of anointing in your life. But what do we always pray?

Oh, more Lord, more Lord, more Lord, more Lord. And what's he saying? Why would I give you more when you haven't stewarded what you already have? I want more.

I don't know anybody that doesn't want to walk in the greater things that Jesus has provided. Because I want my life to fully represent him. I want my life to be a reflection of Jesus Christ. In order to do that, I've got to be able to do the things that he did.

But here we are. Oh, more Lord, more Lord, give me more, give me more. It's like we've been burying the authority and power for 20 years. Why would I release more?

Because you haven't prayed for a single person yet. Or you prayed once, twice, or three times, and nothing happened, and now you quit. See, every ministry, every trip Christ and I've been on have not been as successful as this one. I've been to other countries and have prayed for 100 people and have had no results.

But my lack of results doesn't give me the reason to quit. Because Jesus didn't say, go heal the sick, go pray for the no clog cleanser leper, go raise the dead, go cast out demons. And if you get results, keep it up. Now he set the bar here.

And until my life perfectly equals his life, I need to grow into it. And in order for him to release more into my life, I've got to start faithfully stewarding that which he's already entrusted to me. And it starts by praying for one person. And if I can see the breakthrough I don't, it's pray for two people, and then three people, and then four people.

And I get a breakthrough, and then five, and then six, and then seven, until I have the life of Jesus where every single person that we pray for receives what he's paid for. There's nothing more devastating than having to hand a baby back to its parents that doesn't receive its healing. For as great as the things that we experienced while we were there, one day, Christen prayed for this baby that was four months older, I'm not exaggerating when it's head was this big. It had water on the brain.

This baby's head was as big as big as his body. Those parents came back two days later. They walked an hour because they heard we were going to be somewhere, and they walked an hour to see us again. And that time we both prayed.

I had that baby back to its mom. But that doesn't stop me from the next time. See, that should propel me into one to press into God. What am I missing?

Where did I miss it? Because I know he never fails. Lord, check my heart. Was my motive wrong.

But it's going back to that place of intimacy and letting it flow from there. So he calls us to himself. He commits to us everything we need, authority and power. And then the third thing is this, is he commands us what to do.

He doesn't send us out without instructions. I like the new American standard. I didn't put it up there. But it says, after he instructed them, he sent them out.

So you don't get to, in the New King James, it says that Jesus sent out the 12 and he commanded them. But it's really the way the tenses and the words run. After he gave them instructions, then he sent them. How many men ever read the instructions?

Oh, one. I got one over here. There's an instruction reader. We bought a house for our new kitty cat.

And I hate cats, but I love this cat. I don't know what it is about this cat. Got this little kitty. I think Cara's got the sister.

Yeah. And I bought this little, it's an outside cat because I'm allergic to cats. But I had to get a little house. It's got a heating pad in the house.

So I don't want the cat getting cold. But we got this package in the mail of all these pieces that are supposed to make a cat house. And for once, I decided I'm going to read the instructions. But for some reason, I should have known because it said made in China, it was missing a few pages.

They weren't complete instructions. But thank God for my wife because she's miss building it. She can figure it out. I'm like, and I've got it.

I got it. I got like, oh, here's part A, B, C, and there's three F's. And I've got it all laid out, but then the instructions don't match the pieces. But thank God we're able to get it together.

The cat's got this nice warm bed now, and she's growing. But when God calls us and when God commits to us, and then He gives us instructions, He gives us complete instructions. He doesn't give us just a partial list of instructions. And so notice here in chapter 10, it says this, the word command means this.

Command means this. It means to transmit a message from one to another to declare, announce, command, order, charge, or to instruct. It means to really to say, OK, here's how I want it done. Here's what you need to do.

So He says this. We're going to close up here. It says, do not go by the way. Do not go by the way of the Gentiles.

Do not enter a city of the Samaritans or go rather to the lost house, lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go preach saying, the kingdom of heaven is a hand. Heal the sick cleans of lepers. Raise the dead cast out demons.

Freely, receive, freely give. And if you think about this, He gives us the who, what, where, when, why, how of ministry? He says, OK, I'm calling you in. I'm committing power and authority to you.

And now look, now the gospel was always to the Jew first. And so He's sending the apostles out here. And He's sending them out. He says, hey, don't go to the Samaritans.

Don't go to the Gentiles yet, because that's going to happen later. But I want you to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So He tells them where not to go. He tells them where to go.

He tells them who to go to. And He says this, He says, as you go, well, when do I do this? As you go. So when should I be preaching as I go?

So this is an ongoing thing. He says, as you go preach. And then He tells them what to preach. And then He tells them what to do.

And then He tells them why to do it. He says, because you freely received. And then He tells them what to do, freely give. So He says, all these things, who, where, when, why, how?

Because I gave it to you, not because you deserved it. See, none of us deserve what He's entrusted us. None of us says you received it freely. Salvation is a free gift.

The Holy Spirit is a free gift. God never charges us for anything. He just says, I want you to receive it by faith. And He says, you've received it freely.

Not freely give it away. See, too often, we have all these, these things that Jesus has given us. We just want to hold on to. And really, part of being a good steward is releasing what God's giving us.

Not just assets, not just abilities, but anointing. Our authority. He wants us to be good steward to that. He wants us to release the very thing that He's put on our life.

Peter says this. And when he goes to the, when he goes and sees the lame man in Acts chapter three, remember the guys? He's there begging outside the temple in Acts three. And Peter says, look up here.

And it says, the guy thinking is going to receive something from Peter. Peter says, silver and gold. I don't have any silver and gold have a none. But that which I have, I do what I give to you.

I don't have this, but what I have I'm giving you. See, that might be you today. Like, you know what? I don't have the finances to do this, or I don't have the time to do that.

But regardless of any of those things, everybody has access to the same anointing. Everybody has access to the same Holy Spirit. Everybody has access to the same authority. And Peter says, silver and gold, I don't have, but what I do have, I do what I give to you.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk. And so what did He do? He released the authority that Jesus had given them. That's the same thing we still do today.

It's the same thing we have access to today. Healing and deliverance are not secondary issues to the gospel. They're an integral part of the gospel. That Jesus came to save us from our sins, yes.

Because without being saved from your sin, you can't have a relationship with Him. But He also, before He died on the cross, was scourged, was beaten, was bruised, so that our bodies could be as whole as His. It's not a sub issue. It's part of the gospel.

That when we preach the gospel, it's just not limited. So what happens is we've too often limited to just the gospel of salvation. But Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom. He preached that there is a king, and He has a kingdom, and then He rules over everything.

And then He's demonstrating His rule and authority through His body, the church, to show that his authority is still over everything. And that's what He's calling us to do. He's calling us to represent Him well. And so He does that.

Before He sends us out, He calls us in. And then He commits to us the essential tools, power, and authority. And then He gives us an instruction and commands, hey, here's where I want you to go. Here's what I want you to do.

Here's where I want you to go to. In John chapter 4, if you remember when Jesus was meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well, the disciples left, and they come back, and they're thinking, Jesus has gotten food somewhere. And He says, I have food to eat of that you know not of. He says, my food is to do the will of the Father.

He sent me. And He tells them again, He says, I want you to look at the fields. He said, you say there's four months, and then comes to harvest. He says, saying people would say then, just to kind of like, it's like a procrastination.

Ah, it's four months, harvest in for four months. I've got time to tell my neighbor. Got time to tell my brother and my sister. Four months, and then the harvest comes.

Jesus says, no, fields are ripen to harvest. He says, don't say that. There needs to be an urgency. There needs to be an urgency to people's lives.

We have no guarantee you the next day, or today, or tomorrow, or next week. He says, I want you to lift up, he says lift up your eyes, and look unto the fields. For they are ripen to harvest. And I think it's interesting in the passage, Jesus says, look unto the fields.

Because what happens a lot of times is we get in this mindset of a single field mentality. Maybe it's, well, I'm only called to this type of the population, or this ethnicity, or this part of the world, or whatever. And we see things that there's just a field. But Jesus wants to broaden our scope today.

He says, I want you to open your eyes, and I want you to look unto the fields plural, that there's multiple fields that need plow. There's multiple fields that need harvested. We don't all work in the same field. The field that he calls me to, or the field that he calls pareto, or the field that he calls Stephanie, or Jeff, or whoever, might be the same field, but it might be different.

But that's where you have to have that time of intimacy with him and say, Lord, where do you want me to work? What field are you calling me to today? What do I need to be effective in that field?
