Iconic minute nineteen opens with Richard Kimble leaping from the bus a fraction of a second before it is hit by the train. But his troubles aren't over, because now the train has derailed and an engine is careening towards him at the side of the tracks. His feet are still cuffed, so he hobbles away as fast as he can while the locomotive drives through the dirt behind him. He jumps into a ditch and dives under the rail bridge above him, seeking refuge while the train piles up beside him. The train finally stops, and Kimble begins to rise as silence falls, broken only by crackling flames.
