Good morning, weather watchers! I'm your meteorologist bringing you the latest forecast for the Gretna area in Louisiana. Tonight, we've got a slight chance of showers before 4 in the morning, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures dipping down to around 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect northwest winds blowing around 15 miles per hour. Sunday's looking pretty nice - we'll see mostly sunny skies with temperatures falling to about 55 degrees by 8 in the morning. Those northwest winds will continue at 10 to 15 miles per hour. Sunday night brings clear skies and a chilly low around 41 degrees, with north winds around 10 miles per hour. Washington's Birthday looks sunny and mild, with temperatures reaching near 57 degrees and a gentle northeast wind of 5 to 10 miles per hour. Things get interesting Tuesday, with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers. Expect mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures climbing to near 64 degrees. Tuesday night brings a 100 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, with temperatures staying around 54 degrees. Wednesday continues the wet trend with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, with a high near 62 degrees. As we move towards the end of the week, we'll see some cooler temperatures, with sunny and partly sunny days and highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
