Good morning, New York City! This is your weather report for today, coming in hot... well, actually, cold! Today's forecast is a chilly adventure. We're looking at a sunny day with temperatures barely climbing to 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Bundle up, because the wind chill will make it feel like a crisp 20 to 25 degrees. Expect some serious wind action with westerly winds blowing at 17 to 23 miles per hour, and gusts that could reach up to 33 miles per hour. It's going to be breezy out there! Tonight, we're switching to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to around 29 degrees. The northwest wind will calm down to a gentle 5 to 9 miles per hour before going completely still after midnight. Saturday brings some exciting weather! Snow is expected to start after 1 pm, with temperatures staying near 36 degrees. We're looking at a 90 percent chance of precipitation, with potentially 1 to 2 inches of fresh snow. Saturday night gets even more interesting. We'll see a mix of rain and snow, transitioning to all rain after 1 am. Temperatures will rise to around 42 degrees by 5 am. Sunday looks wet, with rain before 1 pm and showers afterward. Temperatures will climb to nearly 49 degrees, with a good chance of precipitation and up to an inch of rainfall. The week continues with mostly sunny and cold conditions, with a slight chance of snow midweek.
