Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister Interview – Black Hollywood Live’s Portraits

Tommy “Tiny” Lister is a highly recognizable actor, having worked in over 171 films in a 29-year span, with renowned directors such as Quentin Tarantino, John Singleton, Christopher Nolan, Hal Ashby, Roland Emmerich, F. Gary Gray, Renny Harlin, and Luc Besson. He joined Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando in the quirky Don Juan DeMarco, starred with Jon Voight in Runaway Train, and played the first black President in Luc Besson's sci-fi film The Fifth Element opposite Bruce Willis. Tiny is probably best known for his role as neighborhood bully “Deebo” opposite Chris Tucker and Ice Cube in the hit comedy Friday and reprising the role in the successful sequel Next Friday.
