· Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is a chronic, neuro-muscular disease that causes serious weakness of the voluntary muscles· MG can impact a person’s ability to see, walk, smile, breath, and swallow· MG has no known cause or cure and is often called the snowflake disease because it manifests so differently in each person· MG is relatively rare (impacting approximately 30 out of 100,000 people) and is many times difficult to diagnose.
