This sequel was thirty years in the making, and actually was not even really supposed to be made. The only reason that Eddie Murphy decided to make this sequel is because of the demand for it! So, we're here talking about a movie that took a very long path to get made, and finished the way he liked it. Of course we are talking about the long awaited sequel, Coming 2 America. Coming 2 America tells the story of King Akeem Joffer, years from where we last saw him, getting married to his lovely bride. NOW, Akeem is the king, not just a prince, and we get a look on how the King has changed, since we last saw him. Changed for the worse, unfortunately. Akeem has lost his way, he just found out he has a son, and his oldest daughter is trying to make her father understand that she is more than capable of wearing his crown after he passes.
