Mary O’Connell - Check Call Community Host - FreightWaves - St. Louis, MO Training is a relatively new concept to the world of supply chain and brokerages. Like we talked about last time, it's always been welcome to the company, have a nice day. Why have some of the better brokerages adapted a more comprehensive training plan? We all know what the cream of the crop does, but what about those who see the value in implementing a training program but struggle with how to implement it. Like if they can’t justify the people to create the training, taking employees off the floor etc? What about re-training or continuous learning? If someone is already doing their job well why bother pulling them into some training? What about leadership training? Motivating a team to stay engaged and not letting underperformers get outshined by the top ones?  My biggest gripe is asking for feedback and then not doing anything about it.
