On 24 September 2019 Melbourne University hosted an important lecture about transgender communities, law reform and feminism featuring a number of academics including Michelle McNamara, Dr Sandy O’Sullivan, Professor Raewyn Connell, Professor Angela Dwyer, Amao Leota Lu and  J.R Latham.
