As battery-electric vans and medium-duty trucks become more prominent, the charging infrastructure those vehicles will require must expand, too, according to panelists speaking at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo in Long Beach, Calif. Having infrastructure in place will be "the impetus and motivation” for a customer to go into this electric last mile, Oshkosh CEO John Pfeifer said.
