Tributes paid to man who died in Donegal drowning incident

Teelin and the wider south Donegal area has descended into shock and sadness following the death of a man in a drowning incident. The man in his 40s drowned after difficulty in the Teelin Bay area while another man, in his 60s is receiving treatment for serious injuries at University Hospital Galway. A local diving event was taking place in the area at the time. Local Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy has expressed her sympathies with the deceased man's family and has praised the swift response of the emergency services.
