TST 3/17/23 - Saint Patrick's Sham w. Mike D

from The Secret Teachings · host Ryan Gable

On this special one-hour Friday broadcast, Mike D. joins us as a cohost to discuss the occult nature of St. Patrick’s Day. Although green is associated with the festival, blue was the original color of the Saint, whose real name was Maewyn Succat - blue was the original color associated with Santa Clause too. This is ironic since St Patrick drove out all the serpents from the Emerald Isle, i.e. a metaphor for the pagans and Druids, who honored nature in its personification as the Green Man. The very green shamrock, or seamroy (Celts), was a very sacred plant in Ireland due to its association with spring renewal. Perhaps a four-leaf clover is most lucky because the four petals symbolize the four elements and seasons, or their eight total notches represent the entire wheel of the year. Even the Leprechaun, or lobaircin, meaning ‘small-bodied fellow’, is equated to nature in the form of a fairy, sprite, elf, gnome, etc. These earth-dwellers have magical powers and protect with that magic their treasure below.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-secret-teachings--5328407/support.Thank you for supporting independent, unbiased inquiry into the mysteries of our world.
