Tubbercurry apartments deemed inadequate for residents

A block of apartments in Tubbercurry have been deemed inadequate for the residents who live there.Sofia House was previously a convent but had been converted into apartments some years ago.However, the likes of windows and doors said to be not up to standard, with residents reportedly cold and using a lot of their income for heating.Sligo County Council has committed to carrying out an inspection and local Cllr Martin Connolly is hopeful that this will pave the way for some minor works to be carried out.
