Tuesday | 11/24/2020 | History & The Harlem Renaissance: Dr. Vincent Gaddis on Good Morning Aurora

from Good Morning Aurora · host Studio B: The Host

It was a festival of learning today on the show! Dr. Vincent Gaddis came to talk with us this morning and we had a great time speaking to this remarkable man. As a professor of history at Benedictine University, Dr. Gaddis has been enlightening young minds for years. From the Harlem renaissance, life in New Jersey to social media, we really went everywhere in our discussion. As we go about our daily lives, special attention has to be given to the information we consume. Not all information is good information. But what is our process of discernment? Are we satisfied with what we hear, or do we seek truth? We must seek truth! Also in this discussion we talked about novels, authors, entertainers and the love of & value of history. Special thanks go out today to our friends at PLS Solutions and McCarty Mills. Shouts go out to the Final Stretch Media team, Vizo Arts & the Aurora Veterans Advisory Council. Stay tuned to all that weave coming up. So much more to come! Shouts out to Tredwell and the Aurora Historical Society as well. Oh, and shouts out to a dear friend of the show Mr. Eric Pry (curator) of the GAR Building (Grand Army of the Republic). Be strong, blessed and compassionate towards one another. Have a blessed Tuesday!
