Here's the news:- Join The Neighbor Project Saturday, June 8th from 11 am to 2 pm for our 3rd annual Community Day at 22 N. Highland for an amazing event! Working with great sponsors and our local community, this event is getting greater and greater and we want everyone to attend! We will have music, food and helpful resources for families and Aurora households. Aurora Financial Empowerment Center staff will also be present for the fun, and to help you with any questions you may have about your financial goals. For volunteer opportunities and more details call (630) 906-9400! Save the date!- Saturday, May 11th an important community forum about ending gun violence and public safety will take place at the Prisco Center (150 W. Illinois ave) in Aurora. The Kane County Health Department, the START Program and the Project Safe Aurora Violence Prevention Coalition are hosting this event which will feature amazing guest speakers, resources and helpful information to protect our communities. The event will be from 11 am to 2 pm and is free and open to the public. Collectively, we can address issues and find solutions to protect Aurora as we prosper as a city.
