Stephanie Kifowit, (D-Oswego), Barbara Hernandez, (D-Aurora), Keith Wheeler, (R-Oswego) are partnering with The Kane Senior Council and St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church to provide free frozen meals to seniors once a month, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on prescribed Mondays during the summer at St. Athanasios, located at 1855 5th Ave. in Aurora. Event dates are currently scheduled for June 21, July 12, Aug. 16, and Sept. 13. #community - Thursday, June 24th the YWCA Girls Education Conference will be taking place from 8:30 to 10 am and will be an online event. Co-hosted by the ACFEGroup, the theme will be: Evolving Learning Experiences In A Covid World. There is a helpful and suggested donation of $25; the YWCA has a simple mission, eliminating racism & empowering women.
