Good morning ladies & gentlemen! It is Primary Day! Be sure to vote, vote, vote! Our guest today is State Senator Karina Villa here to speak to us about the important issues of the day. We hope this morning finds you all motivated and in good spirits! Here is today's news: - July 8th is the Community Resource Fair, taking place at 1022 N. Farnsworth avenue. There will be music, raffles, live entertainment and more! This event is being held with many local agencies who will provide the public with resources and information on local services. This will be held from 9 am to noon and the event is free and open to the public. - Alive Aurora has two great summer camps coming up for July & August, both sponsored by Aurora Women's Empowerment Foundation. July 25th, 27th & 29th will be the Youth4SciTech STEM Immersive Camp from 2 to 3 pm each date. This is for grades 5 thru 9. Next, we have the Girls Engineering Camp. This will take place August 8th, 10th & 12th from 11 am to noon each day; also for grades 5 thru 9. Both summer camps are free! Parents spread the word! - Monday August 8th from 3 to 7 pm, Fay’s Finest Foods LLC is hosting their BBQ fundraiser! This is brought to us by Aurora Township to benefit senior and youth services. Dinners are $16 for either drive-thru or carry-out. The food is good, the cause is great, and this benefits our Aurora youth. See the flyer for more details and save the date!
