Chitra Ragavan⁠, C-suite tech ⁠executive, strategic advisor, executive coach and award-winning journalist⁠, authored ⁠"Why Kamala Harris needs a 'competent' white man to win"⁠ for The Hill recently, and the headline drew me in. Naturally, I asked if she'd join me shortly before Kamala Harris chose a (more than) 'competent white man' in Tim Walz to be the VP nominee for the Democratic Party, which I'll get to late in the show (though ⁠I essentially endorsed him eight days ago⁠), but first ... I wanted Chitra to explain to me what the ⁠"warmth-competence matrix"⁠ is and if Kamala Harris is walking a tightrope (or is it a Venn diagram?) between the two well enough. Nancy Pelosi ⁠appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe"⁠ to react to the news that Tim Walz had been tabbed, by the way, and rebuffed notions that Walz is "too progressive."
