Turkey Season is Here!

On this episode of Michigan Wild, Nate and Robert McIntyre dive into a conversation recapping Robert's whitetail season and his first couple days of Turkey season. Robert finished his past fall punching his 3rd and final tag on an out of state buck with his bow. That marked 3 straight years tagging a late season buck with his bow. The season was a grind, but going back to his roots was key to his success. Like chasing whitetails, turkey hunting is another passion for Robert and this season was no different. He had a wild opening day filled with birds and drama. That did not deter him and that persistence was awarded the following morning when he unexpectedly doubled up. Wrapping up the episode some turkey gear is discussed. The guys talk about the gear used and some recommendations for the newer hunter.
