[May 24, 2016: Dedicated to our true heroes—classroom educators—and to parents around the globe!] Ion Bodi's wonderful guitar instrumental inspired me to write a set of lyrics based on his very relatable title. When I sent them to him, he asked if possibly we could make it a pop piece together. So here is its earliest incarnation. I'm battling a wonky microphone situation and an even noisier recording environment than usual, but Ion has worked some magic with his mix here. He has mentioned adding other elements to this, perhaps his own music students, whenever he can find the time. I suggest it also might make a great visual piece down the line, and maybe someone will be inspired to create a 3-minute video for it (to watch on our phones of course ;).
