Oltre al problema dell’innalzamento del livello del mare, già trattato nel primo episodio di questo podcast, c’è quello del riscaldamento e dell’acidificazione delle acque. Cosa significa questo per gli ecosistemi marini? Cosa significa per la pesca e per le comunità costiere? E quali sono le possibili strategie di adattamento? Cercheremo di rispondere a queste domande con l'aiuto del professor Piero Lionello, del Dipartimento di Scienze e Tecnologie Biologiche e Ambientali dell’Università del Salento, e di Giuseppe Scarcella, primo ricercatore dell’Istituto per le Ricerche Biologiche e le Biotecnologie Marine del CNR. Come negli altri episodi, anche in questa ultima puntata riporteremo la testimonianza di un personaggio dal futuro, che narrerà la sua storia di adattamento.
