Today John reads from his book “The People Programme”. PEOPLE is an acronym for the six titles of the modules of his coaching program; Problems, Emotions, Operate, Patterns, Likelihood and Enhance. It helps us to understand the current occurrences in our lives based on past events, understanding those around us, any programmed patterns of behaviour we have and how we can change and move forward.    KEY TAKEAWAYS John reads about how his past experiences from childhood led to his current thoughts and opinions on relationships.  Lacking attention turned John into a bit of an extrovert and his parents examples left him confused on how relationships were supposed to be. A favoured brother, the responsibility to apologise and being second all created coping strategies that John used to navigate his environment efficiently.  Children learn at a deeper and more permanent level and these lessons are very hard to shift in later life.   BEST MOMENTS ‘ What is not funny and is completely overlooked from reciting this story is that I’m a young child out late by myself in the dark. I had not been seen for hours, obviously I had missed my dinner, and my brother is all tucked up in bed and I haven’t even been missed.’ ‘When anything happened where I was told off, I would always be the one made to apologise and make things right. Otherwise I was just ignored and made to stay in my room until I had.’ ‘My brain was learning how I could survive. That’s right, survive. My young brains only job at that age was to learn how to keep me alive, how to cope with all the things that were happening and for me to get through it all.’ ‘If something feels unknown or uncomfortable I must check in with myself and give it a go before I dismiss it immediately.’   VALUABLE RESOURCES If you want to order a copy of my book The P.E.O.P.L.E. Brother Blaq1-" The Relationship Guy" Rob Gregg My podcast is about relationships and family. My goal is to help people make the right choice in mate selection. The only way we can grow as people is to look at our own lives and confront the truth. The saying is true, " the truth can set you free!! When we are totally free from the past, then and only then can we attract the right "purpose mate". Together with Nikhil Chinapa Nikhil Chinapa Together is a way of celebrating the relationship between you guys, the community that makes this show so special, and us, the team that puts the show together. Together, we/'re going to do amazing things. The FootPol Podcast Francesco Belcastro and Guy Burton The podcast that brings together football and politics. We'll be exploring the relationship between the two, both inside and outside the game. The podcast covers "Big Politics" like politicians, clubs, international and national federations and other organised groups and how they use or abuse the game to "Small, Everyday Politics" in the form of community-level clubs, fan associations and the way that football reflects the political challenges of our day to day lives. The FootPol Podcast is brought to you by co-hosts Drs Francesco Belcastro and Guy Burton. The Billy Madison Show Cristine Billy holds a Master’s Degree in Business from American International University and attended Mankato State in Minnesota, but don’t hold that against him. He is a collector of Star Wars memorabilia, autographs (seriously), and a self-admitted ”dork” (but in a cool way of course). Derek is Billy’s ”right hand man” and offers his opinion on many topics but he will honestly admit he’s ”not a political expert or expert on a lot of things” and ”never went to college” but neither did Bill Gates (ok Gates went, but dropped out) but so what? ”Nard” (also known as Nathan) is a former listener of the show that was given a job after Billy helped him find a girlfriend. The relationship with the girl didn’t last but Billy and the guys liked Nard’s ”wit” and offered him a chance to be on the show one day and he never left. Nard has won over 50 Gold Medals in The Special Olympics and supports causes that help place special needs individuals in appropriate jobs and careers, just as he has done.
