Unoffendable - I Can Worship a God Like That

What does it mean to take offense? If you look up the definition of the word, offended, you will see most dictionaries say something about anger and resentment. As we get in to this, you may be thinking, like me, aren’t we allowed to be angry? What about righteous anger? Aren’t Christians supposed to be angry at people for certain things? We will talk about all these things and more through this series. As we wrap up this series, "Unoffendable," you may be asking, so what? What should we do about the anger and constant feeling of offense? The point of it all is so that people will know who Jesus is. If we will choose to be unoffendable, people will see the love that Jesus has for them through us. Here’s the deal with me today. I’m tired of all the hate. I’m tired of the racial divide. I’m tired of people killing each other. And honestly, if the 83% of people in the United States who claim to be Christian would actually love the way Jesus has prescribed and choose to be unoffendable, we could change the world!
