The V4 countries want to jointly focus on distant markets in tourism, especially the USA, Asia and the Middle East. This is the result of the meeting of the highest representatives of the relevant ministries and directors of national tourism organisations in Pezinok. At the end of the gathering, they adopted a protocol on cooperation between the V4 countries in the field of tourism. The protocol contains a marketing action plan of the V4 countries for the promotion of tourism in the Central European region, targeting distant markets.
