We’re very happy to start-off this week with a phenomenal sip. And this one definitely stands out of the crowd – today’s cocktail goes by the name „Velvet Cowboy“ This delicious treat is brought to you by TÂCHES, or Alex Christopherson, by his real name. An artist beyond mainstream, conquering the electronic world with his very unique and honest approach. Originally British, Alex grew up on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Spain. He left to Great Britain for college, but got back shortly, to focus on music, the real assignment in his life. Recently, Alex decided to pitch his tent in a mountainous canyon close to Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, California. He finally found the place on earth that sets free the energy required to keep him and his projects growing. His music does not follow any trends – it conjures the energy of a latin, jazz and disco influenced, romantic house music, that reminds the owner of this channel of times he got into house music, a couple of decades ago. But there is also this modern touch to TÂCHES’ music. Dreamy, experimental, blending different world sounds to a magically touching mood. You can feel that the music reflects his experiences, his feelings, at this very moment. In 2017, Alex launched his own imprint “Glitter Cowboy”, a “home for unusual and melodic music, that pushes the boundaries of the zeitgeist”. “Group Love”, TÂCHES' second EP and third release this year, has just been released on Glitter Cowboy. And a bit further back he welcomed Hypsidia & Altriparty with their stunning “The River” EP, including a remix by TÂCHES. TÂCHES likes to knock up his Velvet Cowboy post sunset.
