Veronica Mars, S01E05- You Think You Know Somebody

from Spoil Me · host Natasha Kingston

So this episode of Veronica Mars was a bit of a shock, I gotta admit. I knew there was something suspicious about Troy, and my gut told me I didn't like him, but holy shit! A fucking drug peddler? Nope, did NOT see that one coming. Thanks to Charissa for sponsoring this episode! I really am enjoying seeing the relationship continue developing between Veronica and her father, too. It's a tough episode for the two of them, with him finally feeling desired and happy and hopeful about life for the first time in a while because of this woman he met, while Veronica feels hurt and betrayed. What a shitty circumstance. He winds up sacrificing that for his daughter, which was certainly the right thing to do, but god that sucks. Being a parent seems like the worst. Meanwhile there's the whole thing with Luke, the dumbass, self-absorbed jock who thought that he could tell his little friend Logan about smuggling steroids into the US and that there would be no repercussions from it. This fucking idiot begs Veronica for her help, and then proceeds to whine and argue with her about every single suggestion she makes, and I sincerely wanted her to murder him. She has more restraint than me. Thanks so much to everyone for listening, and I will see you next week!
