VVD wil weer app inzetten tegen coronabesmettingen

Als het aan de VVD ligt, wordt het stijgend aantal coronabesmettingen bedwongen door de CoronaMelder-app weer te activeren. Daartoe is een motie ingediend, die wordt ondersteund door D66. De CoronaMelder-app gaf een melding wanneer iemand in de buurt was van iemand die kort erna positief erd getest op het virus. Deze app en de bijbehorende infrastructuur werd afgelopen april uitgeschakeld, maar kan volgens Minister Kuipers van Volksgezondheid opnieuw worden ingezet wanneer dat nodig geacht wordt.
