Ondanks de aankondigingen van veel westerse bedrijven dat ze uit Rusland zouden vertrekken, is een groot deel nog steeds actief in het land. Uit recent onderzoek waarover het economenvakblad ESB bericht heeft nog geen 9% een of meerdere filialen in het land gesloten. Politiek verslaggever Cor de Horde legt uit dat het voor veel bedrijven nog niet zo makkelijk is om van hun Russische tak af te komen.
