Liam is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who spent 15 years in television news before joining Newsmaker as co-owner in March of 2024.He started his television career as an evening anchor and reporter for WILX-TV in Lansing, Mich., and then made the exciting move back home to Boston to become a general assignment reporter at WCVB-TV. In 2015 WBZ-TV hired Liam away to become their evening anchor, and then eventually anchor of the award-winning WBZ Mornings and the Morning Mix. During Liam’s career in news, he proved himself to be a superb storyteller, earning an Emmy Award in 2019.Liam has experienced it all. He covered Patriots Super Bowl wins and Tiger Woods in his prime. He has interviewed a president, governors, and mayors. He has moderated debates and shared grief with communities devastated by tragedy. He has witnessed events from major storms to historic elections. Liam will continue his talent and passion for storytelling for Newsmaker Marketing’s clients and bring the agency to new heights through social media and owned and earned media.Away from work, Liam is a devoted husband and father to two children, Everly and Asher. He coaches their sports teams and spends as much time with them as possible. He’s also an avid Boston sports fan and a passionate advocate for mental health, encouraging men to open up about their challenges.
