We exist and I am not sorry

from Trans Confessions, A Very queer journey · host Jynx The Wonder Gurl

In today's episode Jynx will be discussing the topics related to what transgender and gender queer people all over the world face. Each day thousands of trans individuals are harassed and probed with inappropriate questions.  After which Jynx will go into the made-up controversy of Lia Thomas winning the NCAA championship. Trans people are often targeted with insolent questions, such as "Why do you want to be a girl?" and off-color comments about their gender identity. Every day transgender individuals have to deal with the stress of dealing with cisgender's general ignorance towards transgenders' experiences; this podcast goes into detail on some common inquiry made by listeners like yourself who may feel frustrated or unanswered when asking these types if inquiries - please listen responsibly! Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer from Florida has just won her division at the 500-yard freestyle event. But not according to Ron DeSantis who issued an official proclamation saying that second place finisher Emma Weyant was “the true winner." The lack of acceptance shown by this administration isn't surprising given their anti–transgender bathroom policy but it still hurts feelings and makes one wonder if they would celebrate someone else besides themselves? On Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) issued a proclamation declaring that the second-place finisher — University of Virginia swimmer and transgender woman Emma Weyant—was “rightful winner.” This came after Lia Thomas won 500 yard freestyle at Atlanta Olympics last week becoming first known transgender athlete to capture Division 1 championship in any sport!
