If you’ve ever visited Chinatown during the Lunar New Year holiday, you might remember lion dances. The Hakka Box Lion originates in 1831, most popular in Lunbei and Xiluo in Yunlin County. traditional Hakka Box Lion performance includes the Spirit lion, The Big Face or the god of money and wealth, and the Little Face which is the auspicious or lucky monkey. Accompanied by music, the lion, god of wealth, and monkey perform energetic movements, like saluting or scratching. 詔安客家三寶-武術、開口獅及布袋戲。客家獅隊的組成，有大獅、財神（大面）、吉祥猴（小面）三種吉祥物和鑼、鼓、鈸等文場樂器共同組成，以行禮、搔癢等逗趣的動作形成戲劇風格。其中咬紅包、咬青等動作，更是客家獅獨特的技藝。 -- Hosting provided by SoundOn
