Let's get ready to learn! Here's the news: - On Thursday, May 30th come celebrate the opening of a new location for our friends of Alive Aurora with a grand ribbon cutting! At 12:30 pm our great Mayor Richard Irvin will welcome the Alive Center at their new location at New England Congregational Church. This event is open to the public and we encourage everyone to see the amazing space and learn about the awesome work the Alive Center does for teens and young people in our city. Follow the Alive Center here on Facebook and Instagram and come celebrate this awesome event! - Join The Neighbor Project Saturday, June 8th from 11 am to 2 pm for our 3rd annual Community Day at 22 N. Highland for an amazing event! Working with great sponsors and our local community, this event is getting greater and greater and we want everyone to attend! We will have music, food and helpful resources for families and Aurora households. Aurora Financial Empowerment Center staff will also be present for the fun, and to help you with any questions you may have about your financial goals.
